Here are the main stages of the report writing.

The report connects three qualities of a researcher: the ability to conduct a study, the ability to present the results and ability to answer questions.
A distinctive feature of the report is the scientific, academic style of writing it.
Academic style is a very special way to presenting text material, most suitable for writing academic and research work. This style defines the following rules: sentences can be long and complex; including frequently used words of foreign origin, different terms; used opening constructions such as "it appears to be that", "according to our viewpoint"; author's position should be less pronounced, there should be no pronoun "I", "my” (view);in the text stamps and general words may be found.
The general structure of such a report may be as follows:
The explanation of the research topic (and it must be not only relevant, but also original and interesting content).
Relevance of the study (the interesting area of research, what its importance is, some scholars working in this field, what matters in this subject have been given insufficient attention and why the student has chosen that particular topic).
The purpose of the work (in general terms, the wording of the research topic).
Research problems (specifying the goal).
Hypothesis (science-based assumptions about the possible results of research work. Formulated in that case, if the work is experimental in nature).
The methodology of the study (for a detailed description of all activities related to obtaining results).
Results of the study. Summary of new information, which researcher has gained in the process of observation or experiment. In presenting the results it is desirable to provide a clear and laconic interpretation of new facts.
