We all seem to be concerned about environmental problems and the possible ways of solving them. This is a long time already since we are aware of the fact that the natural resources, we are using for our everyday needs, are not endless and that nature needs as much help from us as we can get from it. However, rather often people think, that such global issues as environment are called global because there should be created huge departments and commissions in order to control and solve them, not realizing, that in this case “global” means first of all that these problems need interference of everybody into the issue. One person seems to have too little power to do anything about serious and sophisticated environmental problems, such as loss of rain forests, acid rains, problems with ozone layer or global warming effects; however, in reality there are a lot of things, which he could do. One of the best examples of individual’s contribution might be waste reduction and proper recycling organization. We are all aware of the fact, that recycling is vitally important for controlling the garbage generation both in homes and enterprises, because it can reduce the number of landfills and incinerators. In some states, thanks to recycling there is a possibility to provide the environmentally preferable sources of materials for enterprises and industries. However, recycling should not be considered only as a local material management technique, its role in reduction of the environmental impacts of industrial products is enormous. Recycled materials, if they are used as a substitution for natural resources such as those taken from forests and mines, are able to provide considerable energy savings, along with reduction of greenhouse gas emissions as well as other air and water pollutants. This is evident, that on the other hand the natural resources are not so extremely used and have at least the chance for resumption.
Candide is one of the most famous works by Voltaire written during the Age of Enlightenment. Till nowadays it fascinates the readers with its profound penetration into the human world with all its evils, drawbacks, falsity and cruelty. The harsh irony and sarcasm of the author along with severe critics towards the existing cultural and religious norms made Candide also one of the brightest examples of the Enlightenment literature.
In this paper we are going to turn to the issues related to such controversial practice – as tattooing. There are various points of view regarding tattoos, some people think this is a kind of art, others state, that a human body should under no conditions be spoilt by any outside marks an so on. With the help of some historical facts, modern statistics and brief explanations of the most widely used tattoo signs we are going to prove, that tattoos can not be viewed unambiguously and thus only negatively or positively, because this is necessary to take into consideration, that tattooing is not simply a way of spoiling or improving the human body, this is also one of the communication means.
Today, the development of fashion industry is characterized by the growing cooperation between companies operating in different countries of the world. At the same time, leading companies of the fashion industry attempt to expand their markets and increase their market share by means of international market expansion. In this respect, Mango is one of the leading companies which has started to implement the strategy of international market expansion and such expansion became the mainstream trend in the current development of the company. As the matter of fact, in spite of the international presence of Mango in many countries of the world, its expansion policy has been just started, taking into consideration the existing plan of the company to increase substantially its presence worldwide. In such a situation, a number of challenges naturally arise because the international market expansion inevitably confronts the company to problems which it has never faced before, while operating in the domestic market solely. Therefore, Mango has to cope with new challenges it is currently facing and the extent, to which the strategy of the international market expansion is successful, will define the future of the company in the fashion industry. At this point, it is possible to presuppose that a successful international market expansion will lead either to a considerable improvement of the competitive position of the company or undermine its current position and put the company in a very difficult position, taking into consideration the current economic recession and uncertain future prospects of the world’s economy.
Introduction
I turned over in my mind for a long time the question that should never be asked. But weighting every life situation and life abruptness I’ve come to understanding that this question concerns life itself, namely its length and circumstances.
